Hunting Dall Sheep is a wonderful experience. This wild mountain sheep lives in the absolute wilderness of the mountains of the Brooks Range, and in other mountain districts such as the Alaska Range etc.
The Brooks Range is the most northernly mountain range in Alaska, where we hunt Dall Sheep, grizzly bear, caribou and there is even the chance of wolf.
The district is part of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
This hunt is defined as a rucksack-hunt. That is to say that the hunter must be in good physical shape, and able to carry his own equipment. The hunt starts out from tented camp, and will involve walking up in the mountains, so make sure you are well prepared in advance.
You will fly, via Anchorage, to Fairbanks, then further on to Coldfoot, from here you will continue in a chartered plane to the hunting district in the Arctic National Wildlife Range.
