The countryside is typical English farmland in character, with meadows, hedgerows and woodland. You can drive along winding roads between charming small towns and villages, now and again passing by some of the many stately homes and manor houses found in the region.

The locals are also very friendly and welcoming here. All in all, the district is well worth a visit!
