In the late 1970s, Lloyd McMahon founded Great White Holdings with a firm belief that Alberta is home to some of Canada’s best hunting opportunities. The area is ideal for trophy hunting of black bears, whitetail deer, bison, moose, and waterfowl such as geese and ducks, as well as world-class fishing. Many years later, this belief remains strong, backed by countless successful hunts, impressive trophies, and loyal returning clients.

Great White Outfitting is a family-owned business run by Lloyd McMahon and his son Jon McMahon. Both Lloyd and Jon are full-time professional outfitters and guides, as well as passionate hunters, anglers, and outdoorsmen.

Lloyd and Jon are proud to offer some of the best hunting areas in Alberta. Great White's lodges are strategically located across the province in prime hunting areas with quality game and large populations. The lodges offer comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and delicious homemade meals.
