A unique feature of these districts (especially Milicz 45) are the artificial lakes, which are emptied in rotation during October, in order to harvest the carp raised here. After one of the lakes have been drained, it is possible to walk out to the small overgrown islands and see how the lake bed is totally covered by the tracks of red deer and wild boar. During August and September good duck shooting can be arranged - from 1st Sept. in combination with geese.
The districts offer roe deer, red deer, wild boar and a few fallow deer. Every year around 92 roebuck are shot annually on the two districts. The trophy size is usually under 350g net, but bucks of over 350g are taken here - a few even over 400g. There is an annual quota of around 21 red stags - the vast majority with a trophy weight of 5-6 kg, but stags of over 7kg do occur here. In 2016 2 really good stags of over 8 kg were shot here. Wild boar can be hunted both on individual hunts throughout the season and on driven hunts in the autumn and winter.
Milicz 67 is 240km from the border crossing at Forst/Olszyna, 16km from the town of Milicz and 65km from Wroclaw, where you can find the closest international airport.
