The district, located close to Musina in the north east corner of South Africa, close to the border with Zimbabwe, is one of the best known districts in Africa amongst our customers. There are many good reasons for this! Limpopo Travel have had this outstanding district in their portfolio for many years, and many of our customers are regular visitors, some have even visited the place more than five times.
The district is incredibly varied, it borders a long stretch of the famous river Limpopo to the north, there are a number of smaller tributary streams, in some places it is hilly with Mopani forest while elsewhere it is flat savannah. Enormous baobab trees complete the picture, it is truly untamed Africa. The whole landscape is magnificent, and the wildlife here thriving, a fact that is reflected by the formidable quality of the trophies. The range of species available is large, and it is especially the waterbuck, kudu and nyala that can produce world-class trophies in this exclusive hunting district.
