The more than 65,000 hectare area is located in northern Hungary, just over 1 hour's drive from Budapest airport. Approx. 4000 ha of the area is very hilly woodland, and was designated many years ago by English pheasant hunters as being the optimal biotope for pheasant hunting of the highest quality.
Our partner has held pheasant hunts in this area for the past 22 years, and each year breeds approx. 80,000 pheasants, some of which are exported to e.g. Ireland. Bags of up to 1,000 pheasants per day can be ordered, as well as 500 ducks per day.
The hunts are carried out very professionally with a permanent release of a large number of birds, which are tried to be kept in the area with ample feeding. As a result of the early release and the adaptation to the local conditions, the pheasants behave almost like wild birds. Depending on the wishes for the number of birds in the bag, additional releases can be made.
