Scientific Name: Canis l lupus
Subspecies: None in Europe.
Distribution: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, Spain and Poland as well as all Eastern European Countries.
Habitat: Dense forest
Description: Reminiscent of a large Alsatian dog, the Wolf weighs around 90 kg, and measures up to 100 cm over the shoulder. The legs, however, are longer and thinner, the chest shallower, the head broader and the neck thicker. The nose is more pointed and the ears stand up straight. The pelage is grey to greyish fawn with brown-reddish colour on the back and the head/ears.
