Scientific Name: Gazella rufifrons
Subspecies: Gazella tiloruna, Gazella kanuri.
Distribution: In small scattered groups, from Senegal in the West to Ethiopia in the East.
Habitat: Subdesert steppe, open arid country with thorn bushes.
Description: Small gazelle with a deep reddish sandy fawn fur. The Red-fronted Gazelle weighs around 25 - 35 kg and measures 70 - 80 cm over the shoulder.
