Distribution: Thailand and Sumatra.
Habitat: Dense rainforest and swamps.
Description: Tapir weighing up to 300 kg and measuring up to 1 meter over the shoulder. It may reach a total body length of 2,50 m without tail (10 cm). General colour greyish brown on the front half of the body as well as the legs. The middle is white.
