Distribution: Kampuchea, Laos and Thailand.
Habitat: Rocky hills in tropical broadleaf forests with open grassy areas.
Description: Large wild cattle weighing up to 900 kg and measuring up to 190 cm over the shoulder. It may reach a total body length of 2,20 m. General colour blackish brown. The horns are heavy, upwards, forwards and outwards pointing. This species was not discovered untill 1936.
