Scientific Name: Cephalophus ogilbye

Distribution: The West African States from Sierra Leone to Cameroun.
Habitat: High forest.
Description: Small antelope with a weight of around 15 kg. and a shoulder height of 40 - 50 cm. General colour bright orange rufous with a rather narrow black central band on the back running to the base of the tail. Has the characteristic crest of hair between the horns.
Hunting method: Normally lying in wait or pursch, but can be hunted by attracting it within shooting range by imitation of the distress calls of smaller animals.
