Scientific Name: Phantolops hodgsoni

Distribution: Tibet, Sichuan (China) and eastern Kashmir.
Habitat: High plateaux between 3.700 and 5.500 m.
Description: Medium sized antelope weighing up to 50 kg and measuring up to 90 cm over the shoulder. It reaches a total body length of 1,40 m without tail (10 cm). The antlers are straight and narrow, pointing almost straightly upwards, ridged througout their length.
Hunting method: Stalking on horseback, with yaks.
