On an autumn hind stalk the hunter can get real value for his money!
4 days from €1,080
Hunting for watchful hinds/does is just as challenging as stag hunting, and costs a lot less. Hungarian hospitality and their great food and drink is of course the same as on all their other hunts - and is well worth the journey in itself.
Normally you can count on bagging 1 -2 head of game per hunter per day, but under favourable weather conditions a good shot can achieve a lot more. Here, you can also try hunting from a horse drawn wagon
Here you will hunt in gently hilly, largely forested terrain. It is a gentle and very beautiful district with especially good populations of red deer and wild boar - small populations of fallow deer, roe deer and mouflon are also present. Annually, around 50 red stags, with trophies in the range of 6-10 kg. as well as circa. 300 wild boar are shot in the district. On payment of a supplement it is also possible to arrange a 1-2 day small driven hunt during your stay.
Hunters can either stay in a cosy hunting cottage in the hunting district itself, or in a good guest house in a village close to the hunting district. Other possibilities can also be arranged, including a **** wellness hotel which is situated close to Sümeg Castle.
