Big Game Hunt in Munyamadzi

Munyamadzi is the name of a 20,000 ha private game reserve, on the banks of the River Luangwa next to  South Luangwa National Park. Munyamadzi is one of Zambia’s best and most attractive game-reserves. The hunting is administered by the Danish P.H. - Thor Kirchner, making it now possible to go hunting in Zambia with a Danish speaking P.H. (He also speeks English, German and local language)

To the north the district is bordered by the “South Luangwa National Park” and other private game reserves, while to the west lies the “West Petauke Game Management Area” and the Luangwa River. Naturally the whole area is unfenced.

One of the things that makes Munyamadzi unique is that there is no state involvement as it is a private game-reserve. This leaves visitors with the impression that you are out in nature, on nature’s own terms. Accordingly you will be accompanied by a “Gamescout” when you are out hunting, your PH and your trackers, and you will have the whole district at your disposal during your entire hunt. Munyamadzi is an outstanding district, and really shows you what big game hunting in Africa is really all about.

When you arrive at the camp on the banks of the River Luangwa, this enormous river and all it’s associated wildlife is sure to take your breath away. The camp-personnel will also be at hand to give you the best possible service.
