This is a real wilderness adventure, with the camps built in the most beautiful surroundings, often next to a river where you can sit and watch the animal life. Every year camps are set up in areas, depending on the season, where many buffalo are present. The camp consists of 4-5 large tents each of which can house 2 camp beds. It is easy to stand upright in the tents, and there are no small tents that would be uncomfortable for 2 people. It is of course possible to request that hunters have a tent to themselves, if the group is not too large. All meals are served in the open air. There are tables and chairs set up next to the camp kitchen, which is set up as an extension of the tents. Surprisingly good, well prepared and drinks are served in camp. It must be said the camps are rather remote, with no town or even other people within a radius of many kilometers. First aid treatment is available in camp, but if anything more acute occurs, there is a small medical post in Bulman, which is a 1-2 hour drive from the hunting camp.
It is absolutely possible to bring along your family, but it is important that they are “nature-lovers” as most of the camps are far from towns and other attractions, but they do offer the chance to explore the area’s rich wildlife. Often the camps are pitched on the banks of a river, from where you can sit and watch the animal life.
