All camps are built in typical East African style. They are all beautifully situated, very comfortable and offer roomy, insect proofed tents (double), with wonderful beds and bed linen, dressing table, clothes racks, shelves and chairs. There is also a private shower and toilet with hot and cold running water in all tents. There is also a cosy “mess tent” for dining and relaxing and of course a well equipped bar, complete with refrigerator to ensure ice cold drinks are always available.
The cuisine is of a very high standard. A good, solid breakfast is served every day featuring fresh fruit, bacon and eggs, freshly baked bread and tea or coffee. Lunch in camp consists of 2 - 3 courses, but on days you are out hunting far from camp a picnic lunch will be provided. Dinner is also a 2 -3 course meal, with a choice of good wines, spirits and other drinks that fully live up to the high quality of the food.
There are 4WD vehicles at the disposal of the hunters. Even though these vehicles are in the best possible condition, and that a mechanic is employed at the camp, the terrain is very hard on these vehicles, and breakdowns can occur occasionally, which can result is the loss of some hunting time.
The camp has radio equipment, making it always possible to contact the firms head office in Dar-Es-Salaam. It is also possible to hire a satellite telephone for US$50- per week.
On arrival in Dar-Es-Salaam or Arusha/Kilimanjaro you will be met by a representative of the safari company who will help with arrival formalities. He will also take care of transfers to the hunting district, either by car, charter flight or train.
